Designed and manufactured to exacting standards to deliver reliable and economical performance in a wide variety of applications for example Post Bio-Filter, Back-End Polishing, Pre-sicharge, Continouse Fish Tank Water Maintenance, Integrated solutions post DAF / Lamella separators, and Post flocculation.
Designed to be used in conjunction with aquaria and commercial fish racking setups, for rearing, maintaining and displaying live fish and crustaceans. The Flocell Xpel Particle Filters are used globally to maintain optimal water quality with the flexibility to manage a variety of biological loads to keep the aquatic livestock in perfect health condition. Available in 200mm diameter, and a choice of manual and automatic cleaning options and can be used for either single-pass or continuous filtration of a fixed volume of water.
Flocell Bio Media is available in four designs as standard, all manufactured by us in our dedicated UK factory, using 100% virgin materials. It is possible to also design and manufacture your own bespoke biomedia profile in any specific gravity to accommodate fresh or saltwater applications. Our bio media is manufactured to offer rapid biomass development within a protected surface area for both nitrification and denitrification which is vital in biological processes.
